Immediately I want to clarify – this article or its point is not important. Seriously, all this is good for is a little chuckle and a bit of clarification. That’s the only reason I’m writing it. Enjoy!
During the recent debate I had with G Man (Debate Analysis, Original Debate), the debate host, Eggsrank created a poll to allow the audience to vote on who was winning the debate. I was planning to put a small section in my debate analysis video about it, but I didn’t have any record of the poll results, since Strawpoll removes them once they aren’t being used. Now however, thanks to an individual who has asked to remain anonymous, I have this screenshot:
The Poll Results. I am lovingly referred to as ‘Eurofag‘ by Eggsrank, in case you didn’t know.
When G Man was informed of the existence of this poll, he predictably flipped shit and immediately pre-emptively called out the inevitable atheist bias. What he didn’t know is that quite the opposite was true.
Most people reading this know of my past conflict with AIU and his drooling cult fanbase. Well, they were in attendance during the debate. There were at least 6 of them who were watching and commenting in the live chat. I copied the text of the live chat after the event ended. Alas, that doesn’t copy the entire chat, as older messages are removed as newer messages come in, but I got a lot of it nonetheless. I then processed the text to remove some extraneous parts (like text entries for the copied user avatar images), and uploaded it to pastebin; It is featured below.

The following people were only there because they dislike me, and only know of me because of the AIU drama:
- Izzy Allen
- Ross Willett
- Logical Fox
The relevant part of the chat log is as follows:
Ross Willett: Recount
Ross Willett: Where’s the link
Izzy Allen: I VOTED FOR GMAN BC I HATE TOM
EvansChrist: I vote Gman
Izzy Allen: I VOTED GMAN
Ross Willett: Recount mother fuckers
Cuffedup86: I vote Gman
AnusMacMuffin: I voted for gman as well :D
LazarheaD: I vote for G man because he funny
I’ve removed one irrelevant message and added colons to make the formatting clearer.
Immediately, without any interpretation, we can tell where 5 of those 6 G Man votes came from. I believe a sixth can be attributed to Ross Willett who probably also voted in G Man’s favour, though he didn’t explicitly claim he did.
It’s not necessarily true that all of these people voted for G Man simply because they dislike me, but for all but one of them, I think it’s exceedingly likely. The odd one out is LazarheaD, who I don’t think has any affinity for AIU, but I haven’t investigated that at all, so I might be wrong.
You’ll notice that this excerpt doesn’t include Logical Fox, who is an AIU fan, but didn’t explicitly claim to have voted for G Man. If he did, it would actually bring the maximum estimate to 7, so at least one of these people didn’t. This over-estimation reduces the chances that anyone voted for G Man for honest reasons much lower.
So, to bring this trivial article to some sort of conclusion, I’ll make two points.
Firstly, No-one who was watching thought G Man did well. I’m not saying this because it should be surprising, G Man is a retard, and a painfully obvious liar, but I’m saying it because I thought I would come off looking bad from the debate. I knew I had intellectually dominated him, but not rhetorically – he’s well practiced at filibustering and pushing his own narrative. It’s a pleasant surprise to see that the rhetoric wasn’t effective on the audience in attendance.
Secondly, I’m very surprised that I got so many positive votes. I think there are more people out there who appreciate what I do than I realise; of course it might be that all 7 of those votes can be attributed to atheist bias as G Man claims, but I somehow doubt it. He is embarrassingly stupid and extremely biased himself, after all. To all those who support me anonymously or without acknowledgement, thank you!
